We have merged with Weymouth College.
We are now Weymouth and Kingston Maurward College. The intention is to create a stronger and more resilient merged college, providing more choice and opportunities for students, staff, employers, and the communities that are served.
The merger proposal seeks to preserve, celebrate, and extend the distinctive features of each college while forming a larger, dynamic, and more resilient college. It will increase opportunity and aspirations for young people, adults, and employers in the region.
The colleges will continue to grow and support students and employers from their respective positions of strength and shared expertise.
The merger took place on 1st August 2024. In the period following the merger the student experience will be unaffected and the current colleges’ sites will continue to operate as distinct campuses.
