RHS Level 3 - Certificate in Practical Horticulture (QCF)
The units covered are:
Collecting and testing soil samples and specifying adjustments for horticulture
Collecting, preparing and propagating from seed
Establishing and maintaining a range of plant types and forms, including planting, pruning and training
Identification of a range of common garden plants, weeds, pests, diseases and disorders
Planning, collecting, preparing and establishing propagation materials, including grafting
Level 2 Certificate in Practical Horticulture or equivalent practical competence Minimum age is 16 years Tetanus protection is recommended.
RHS Level 3 Theory qualifications

Basic stationery - pens, pencils, notepad, lever arch file, dividers, etc. Protective overall and steel toe-capped boots - all protective equipment will be inspected by the course instructor. Waterproof clothing.
