Using the tutor’s expertise and the excellent college grounds, develop hands-on horticultural skills in a wide range of topics.

The weekly morning option can be combined with the Royal Horticultural Society theory course in the afternoon on the same day each week.

Ground preparation for seeding and planting
Practical seeds and plants in soil
Care and pruning of plants
Identification of plants
Identification of weeds, pests, diseases and disorders
