This course is designed for florists who are employed within the industry and are seeking a higher level professional qualification. Candidates should already hold an approved Level 3 qualification or be able to demonstrate the equivalent standard.

All candidates must have access to industry experience whilst undertaking the course.

Course Content

Technical skills - tied designs, wired and glued designs, design trends and concepts.

Historical studies for floristry
Floral event practices
Botanical concepts and practices for floristry
Marketing and promotion practices for floristry
Business practices for floristry
Design concepts for floristry

Meticulous standards of workmanship and commercial speed is expected throughout the course.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should hold a Level 3 floristry qualification or be able to demonstrate Level 3 standard.
