Outdoor Adventure and Sports Coaching

Course Title: Level 3 Professional Outdoor Instructor Study Programme
Course Code: OR250

Dream of spending your summer working abroad? Want to instruct others how to participate in outdoor adventure activities? This course could make your dreams a reality. Most of our successful students on this course become paid instructors at outdoor adventure centres in the UK or overseas.

A lot of the learning takes place outside of the classroom with an emphasis on practical work to develop leadership skills, organisational abilities and land and water based activities. From Easter the course continues in the work place at an outdoor adventure centre in the UK or France where you will be employed on the same conditions as other staff whilst gaining an invaluable season leading outdoor adventure.

This course is ideal for those who want to start an instructing career in outdoor adventure. It also offers a constructive option for students taking a year out before entering Higher Education.
