Year 1 units include:

Citizenship, diversity and the public services
Leadership and teamwork in the public services
Physical preparation, health and lifestyle for the public services
Understanding discipline in the uniformed public services
Command and control in the uniformed public services
Practical team sports.
Year 2 units include:
War and conflict
International perspectives for the uniformed public services
Outdoor and adventurous expeditions
Crime and its effects on society
Planning for and management of major incidents
Uniformed public services employment
Communications and technology in uniformed public services.
In addition the course will include:
Outdoor adventure, navigation, kayaking, climbing, personal and team challenges
Military work experience at RNAS Yeovilton (potentially with flying experience with the Commando Helicopter Unit)
Entry to the Armed Forces Foundation Degree in Public Services Advanced Apprenticeships in related subjects
Further training to become: army soldier, merchant navy deck officer, police officer, prison officer, Royal Air Force (RAF) airman/woman.
