4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English, maths and science. Alternatively a successful completion of a Level 1 course in a relevant vocational subject area to include English and maths at a minimum of grade 3 or successful completion of English and maths Functional skills, to at least Level 1. You must have experience working with horses, a genuine interest and enthusiasm for horses is also essential. Riding ability demonstrated at interview needs to be BHS stage 1 level to include the ability to ride over poles and basic jumping over individual fences from trot and canter at up to 70 cm. The Equine Academy has a weight limit of 85kg (13 Stone 5 llbs) for all riders.
