This course is designed to support new entrants into a career servicing and maintaining agricultural machinery. It will combine classroom-based sessions with a considerable opportunity to practice essential engineering skills in a land-based work environment. You will receive an introduction to important topics in land-based technology and can choose from a wide range of subjects from thermal joining processes to servicing engines

It is a broad course for young people who enjoy working with machinery and is designed to help you progress into a wide range of land-based engineering roles or to boost your existing skills and knowledge. It has also been designed to lead on to the Advanced Apprenticeship in Land Based Technology.
