An introduction to floristry - learning commercial floristry skills in wedding designs, understanding the retail market and running a business within the industry, together with learning plant species and botanical names of the most useful cut flowers for the floristry industry.

This qualification may be "topped up" to Diploma level with a further year's Part Time course.

Identification and use of flowers and foliage
Plan, prepare and construct wedding designs with floral materials
Environmental and land based business

Entry Requirements

Interest in floristry and floral art Simply Flowers recreational course GCSE grade C/4 or above for maths and English, or equivalent. Learners without formal qualifications can be considered.
