Course Title: Level 2 – Diploma in Floristry
Course Code: FL201

Department: Floral Design
Course Type: Full time

Floristry is a creative, innovative and stimulating career and this course will give you the opportunity to gain an industry recognised qualification. It offers an excellent starting point for those who are seeking a career in floristry, both school leavers and the mature student. Covering basic floristry skills, we focus on how to use colour, texture and balance within commercial designs, funeral and wedding work, along with work experience in a retail florist. We have an excellent reputation for students participating in regional and national floristry competitions, and students take part in large floristry projects for the college to learn techniques in event scale work. You will benefit from industry speakers and demonstrations, along with opportunities to attend educational trips to venues such as Covent Garden and the flower auctions in Holland.
