This brand new course is designed to help you develop a wide range of skills to help you become more independent in life and work. Throughout the year you will benefit from valuable work experience, learn how to apply for and obtain jobs in the career of your choice or how to work for yourself.

Alongside this there will be plenty of time to learn new approaches to independent living such as personal and social development and life skills, as well as continuing to be involved in exciting practical learning in land-based subjects like horticulture and animal care. The course will be very practical and you will have on-going assessment to make sure you are achieving your personal targets.

You will be based at Greys Loft our new Centre for Foundation Studies where our teaching team are experienced in working with students with specific educational needs and a range of support is available to ensure you get the most from your study programme.
