CS309 (formerly CS41), this three-day course is for any tree surgeon who needs to dismantle trees in confined spaces using conventional lowering and rigging methods. Learn about lowering techniques and sectional felling, in conjunction with a groundsperson.

Assessment is carried out on a separate day by arrangement.

CS201/202 - Chainsaw Maintenance, CS203 - Fell Small Trees, CS206/306 - Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue, CS308 Operate Chainsaw from Rope and Harness (formerly CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39) - or equivalent Students must be aged 16 or over on 1st September of the year in which the course starts.
