This course is ideal for people who want to learn about assessing a horses way of going and designing exercises and floor plans to help improve and develop their horses education from the ground. This course would be suitable for BHS Stage 3 or 4 Lunge assessment preparation.

Course Content

You will learn to long line and lunge on the flat, over poles or fences where appropriate. Loose schooling is included. Learn to train your eye to make assessments of horses strengths and areas for improvement then design training plans to help horses develop in their education.

Entry Requirements

Capable lunge and long lining skills and an interest in developing horses from the ground.
