Kingston Maurward’s own talented floristry students exhibited at this year’s Spring Wedding Fair which took place last weekend in the estate’s Main House and state rooms. The team showcased its stunning flowers and bouquets which can now be booked for weddings.
During the wedding fair brides and grooms to be showed a great deal of interest in using Kingston Maurward students to create their flowers, which will be designed and produced under the guidance of the newly appointed Kingston Maurward commercial florist.
This new venture will give the creative students the opportunity to work on real weddings giving them hands-on commercial experience whilst offering brides stunning floral arrangements and bouquets.
Floristry tutor, Tracey Nadin, said: “This exciting new initiative will give our students invaluable commercial and creative experience, whilst being part of such a special day for brides and grooms and their families. It’s also a great opportunity for Kingston Maurward to offer an additional bespoke service as part of its wedding packages.”
The wedding fair included wine and cake tasting, demonstrations on makeup culminating in a bridalwear fashion show finale accessorised with beautiful bouquets created by the Kingston Maurward florists.
