Daily Activities

During key times of the year, like half term holidays, we offer a range of free daily activities which may include pony grooming, meet the alpacas, feed the pigs or duck racing. We are open daily from 10am to 5pm* so we ensure you keep updated with what’s on.

Lambing Weekend Sat 29th Feb & Sun 1st Mar 2020

The ever popular annual Lambing Weekend attracts thousands of visitors, both young and old, to meet the hundreds of new born lambs with their adoring mothers, giving children a wonderful insight into the beauty of the animal kingdom whilst educating them too.

  • Kingston Maurward Farm opens its gates to the public for one weekend only!
  • Kids can run off steam around the Animal Park and Gardens – meet the alpacas, wallabies, pigs, sheep, goats and much more!
  • Have fun on the indoor play facilities in the new Barn and Café, which boasts a wide selection of hot and cold snacks and drinks.
  • Enjoy a cream tea in Kingston Maurward’s stunning Georgian house
  • Facepainting*
  • Kids activities throughout the day in the Animal Park
  • Lakeside trail

Prices Adult: £8 | Child: £5 | Senior Citizen: £6

Admission fee to this event allows visitors access to the Farm, Animal Park, gardens & parkland, Elizabethan walled garden, lakeside trail, Kingston Maurward house, indoor play, and cafe.

Latest Events – Feb 2020

Pop in your diary, our “Let’s Go Wild” activity week during half term. From 15/02/2020 – 23/02/2020, we will be hosting a range of free activities for the whole family. Activities will aim to start from 10am and will include meeting our friendly ponies and feeding the chickens.

Two whole weeks worth of animal activities, Easter trails and our indoor play barn and cafe!

On completion of the daily Easter trail, each participant will receive a small chocolate egg.

PLUS! For one day only on Easter Sunday, our special Easter Egg hunt, with your chance to win one of our larger chocolate eggs. Entry to the hunt is an additional £2 per participating child on top of entry price. This is by pre-booking only, so drop us an email or FB message with your name and the number of children participating. Admission and entry to the Easter Sunday hunt can be paid on the day.
