Information Event – Apprenticeships
Earn while you learn
Our apprenticeship courses provide a fantastic opportunity to combine earning a wage at work whilst learning new knowledge, skills and behaviours that will support you in your career. For employers, the decision to take on an apprentice can be a big one, but we are here to help you access funding and assist with choosing an apprentice who will be an asset to your business. The days of apprenticeships being seen as a path for individuals who were unlikely to head down the university route are long gone.
Modern apprenticeships combine practical skills with underpinning knowledge at a wide range of levels, from Level 2 (GCSE equivalent) upwards. The very strength of the apprenticeship is that these skills and knowledge are employer driven and link directly to the workplace and your respective industry.

How do I find an Employer?
One of the best ways to connect with a potential new employer is through a direct introduction. Do your parents or guardians, teachers, tutors, friends, relatives or neighbours have any contacts in the industry or organisation that you want to work for?
People are often happy to give careers advice and tips and are likely to be glad to introduce you to any connections they know who could help you. They will also appreciate it if you take time to thank them for their help and let them know how you get on down the line.
