Kingston Maurward College is clearly signposted just off the A35, three miles east of Dorchester in central Dorset. Getting here is easy and we have plenty of FREE on−site parking.

By Road

Kingston Maurward College is easily accessible from throughout Dorset, we provide plenty of parking places on campus. When you arrive, please follow signs for ‘Visitor Parking’.

From Yeovil, the North and West

From the A30 follow signs for the A37 (Dorchester Road). At the second roundabout take the first exit for the B3147, then, at the next roundabout take the first exit for the B3150. Go straight over at the next roundabout (second exit) and we are the second road on the right

From Bournemouth and the East

Head for the A35 towards Poole. At the fourth roundabout take the third exit on to the A3060, then at the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A338 (Wessex Way) and follow signs onto the A35 (Poole, Dorchester). Continue along the A35 and at the next roundabout take the first exit and we are the second road on the right.

By Bus

We provide an extensive network of subsidised buses for students from most major towns across Dorset including Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Weymouth and Portland and into Somerset and Wiltshire. They run five days per week in term time, arriving at 9am in the morning onto campus and leaving at 5pm. A public bus service also runs daily from Dorchester South station onto the campus.

By Bike

You could consider riding into college on your bike. Save some money and help the environment. Kingston Maurward is situated off a busy road so you will need to take extra care and make sure you wear all relevant safety gear. However, there is an alternative route from Dorchester that avoids crossing the A35. Turn right 300 metres past Grey’s Bridge and follow the bridleway along the water meadows to the rear of the college campus. The college is developing further strategies for improving cycle access and bike storage.

By Rail

The nearest stations are Dorchester West – serving Yeovil, Bristol and Bath, and Dorchester South – serving Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Southampton. The college is about approximately a 30 minute walk from these stations or about 10 minutes in the car.
