These degree programmes are designed to give students an in-depth understanding of animal behaviour, welfare and conservation alongside the legislative changes affecting how animals are kept, and employer demand for highly qualified individuals within a range of animal management settings. They are designed to give students a comprehensive knowledge of animal behaviour as well as practically applied learning opportunities with a variety of different species. The qualifications equip students with the necessary knowledge to assess the welfare needs and devise appropriate management strategies for farm, laboratory, zoo and companion animals.
