About Us

Kingston Maurward College Students’ Union (SU) is an elected group of students, who work in harmony with Course Reps to listen, represent the views, concerns and suggestions of all enrolled students to the Senior Management Team and the College Governors. As a student of Kingston Maurward College, you automatically become a member of the Student’s Union as soon as you enrol at the College.

The Students’ Union Committee sole interest is in the welfare and academic achievements of all students, and uphold the duties of their role to the best of their ability.

The Students’ Union sits under the guidance of the National Union of Students (NUS); who represent all learners in Further Education Colleges and Higher Education Universities in England, Scotland and Ireland.

The role of NUS is to support the student movement in the UK, highlighting the issues that effects students, run National and local campaigns, support and train Students’ Union Officers to represent students within their Colleges and Universities. Visit:
