Post Title: Work Based Learning Co-ordinator and Assessor – Horticulture

Hours: 37 hours per week – Monday to Friday with flexibility to meet business needs.
Salary: £16,080 – £20,999 per annum which is Point 11-20 on the Learning Support Scale dependent on skills and experience.
Job Purpose: To carry out the recruitment of learners, supporting their progression and assessing them in the workplace and at college.
Vision: We are looking to recruit a key member of our work based learning team who can actively engage with local employers, build a good rapport with them, and “sell” the benefits to their business of employing potential horticulture apprentices. Working alongside a team of colleagues, you will be a key contact for both students and employers. A good communicator, you will have experience of work based learning in a variety of areas and a desire to help a wide range of people develop their skills and progress in employment. You will work with the Cross College Lead and other team members in individual areas of the campus to develop popular areas of the college further, with a commitment to uphold high standards of assessment and learning.
