Hours: Part Time or up to Full Time hours available.
Could be suitable as a Job Share or a combination of both roles.
As an Example: during Term-Time if appointed to a part time position the timetable might be:
An average of 18.5 hours per week Monday – Sunday to include:
- 1 evening per week – 6 ‘active hours’ – 5.30pm – 11.30pm;
- 1 hour on-call (between 11.30 pm – 8.30 am)
- Weekends by rota with ‘active hours’ across both Saturday and Sunday
- An average of 5.5 hours per working week subject to agreement.
Salary: Senior Residential Warden – £19,473 – £24,536 per annum pro rata.
Assistant Warden – £15,796 per annum pro rata
Accommodation may be provided on the College Campus for the better performance of your duties
Job Purpose: Two roles: Senior Residential Warden to lead the Residential Warden Team in ensuring the welfare and safety of residential students and coordinating all aspects of student accommodation on campus.
Assistant Warden to assist the Senior Residential Warden in ensuring the welfare and safety of residential students
Vision: Senior Warden – We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to lead the wardening team in looking after the welfare and safety of residential students and to coordinate all aspects of accommodation for students on campus. Previous experience of working with young people and the ability to maintain professional boundaries is essential. A Level 3 qualification and strong organisational skills are crucial to this role. Duties will include both lone and team working. You must be reliable and responsive to alerts/emergencies and be committed to the National Care Standards and the safety of young people.
Assistant Warden – We are looking to recruit pro-active and enthusiastic individuals to assist the Senior Warden and team in looking after the welfare and safety of residential students on the Kingston Maurward campus. Duties will include both lone and team working and some administrative activities as required. You must have the ability to be reliable and responsive to alerts/emergencies and be committed to National Care Standards and the safety of young people.
It may be possible to combine both roles which can be discussed at interview
