Post Title: Lecturer/Course Manager in Construction – Carpentry and Joinery

Post Reference: CON01

Hours: 1 day a week (6 hours) with flexibility to meet business needs

Salary: £18.11 per hour (£4.53 holiday pay) contact rate and £11.32 per hour (£2.83 holiday rate) non-contact rate which is Point L6b on the Academic Staff Salary Scale.

There may be a market pay supplement available for this post.   

Job Purpose:

Lecturer: To deliver inspiring training and education

Course Manager: To oversee and support all aspects of a student’s learning experience and to ensure that this is co-ordinated in a coherent, meaningful manner for each individual.

Vision: We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and self-motivated person to join our team delivering construction skills to a range of learners. The ability to deliver high quality teaching sessions in practical and classroom situations is essential. A teaching qualification and experience of delivering training is necessary
