Hours: 15 hours per week- working days to be agreed with Head of Department
Salary: £12,633.92 per annum for the full 37 working weeks (£15,642 pro rata) which is Scale 3 Point A18 on the Business Professional & Technical Staff Grading Guidelines. As this post will start part-way through an academic year, the salary for 2018/19 will be calculated on the actual weeks worked until 31 August. This will be £3,536.52 assuming a maximum of 25 working weeks and 29 paid weeks assuming a start date of 7 January.
Job Purpose: To support students and teaching staff using the College laboratories
Vision: We are looking for a Laboratory Technician for our busy College laboratories. You will have a strong science background and have experience of working in laboratories. You will have an organised and methodical approach to work and have the ability to communicate with both staff and students.
Status: Permanent and term time only over 37 working weeks (paid for 42 weeks). The position is available for an immediate start.
