Hours: 39 Hours per week Monday to Sunday with flexibility to meet business needs.

Salary: £17,382 per annum which is scale 4 point A22 on the Support Staff Salary Scale.

Job Purpose:

To provide and maintain an efficient service to all areas under your control following best practice within the PRIDE ethos.

To comply with food safety and health & safety legislation in all areas of responsibility, offering service in a polite efficient manner

To ensure high standards of personal appearance and dress are maintained as laid down in the Team Member Handbook.

Vision: We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is naturally outgoing to work within our college catering department as a Chef. You will be involved in providing high quality service to our students, staff and visitors to the campus. A flexible and positive can do attitude is required and a good level of experience is essential as you will be responsible in the first instance for all student food. You will be expected to assist with the catering for all events, including KMC show, lambing and any of the College open days. You will be involved in providing outstanding catering for any weddings held on campus.

As the leading agricultural college in the area Kingston Maurward is ideally placed to promote food for the benefit of our students and the rural economy and we want our team members share our pride in what we do.
