Salary: £17,382 per annum which is point 22 on the Support Staff Salary Scale
Job Purpose: To support the day-to-day running of the animal care resources, to supervise students and to deliver and assess practical animal care skills instruction.
Vision: The College is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and self-motivated person who has an interest in working with not only animals but people as well. The person will be confident with the care and handling of a range of animals together with the ability to deliver high quality, inspiring practical teaching sessions suitable for the sector in the 21st Century and to supervise a group of students to ensure H&S and the welfare of animals at all times. This is a new and exciting opportunity for the right person to help shape the future of animal management education.
A flexible and positive attitude is required alongside the ability to challenge and motivate students. The role promises a varied and interesting workload. The role would suit someone who is working in industry and is now seeking a new challenge.
