Working in the Equine industry which will include 1 day a week at an external work placement.

The principles of feeding and watering horses

Introduction to lungeing horses
Riding horses under supervision

4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English, maths and science OR successful completion of a Level 1 course in a relevant vocational subject.
You must have experience working with horses and lots of stamina, plus a genuine interest and enthusiasm for horses is essential and ride towards BHS stage 1 level to include poles and basic jumping over fences.
The Equine Academy has a weight limit of 85kg (13 Stone 5 llbs) for all riders.
