The Park Leisure Operations and Leisure Management Apprenticeship will give you with the skills, knowledge and competencies required to deliver high level customer care skills required for a career within tourism and home parks.

The Advanced Apprenticeship in Leisure Management is designed for those who already working in the sector and wish to gain new knowledge and skills to continue their professional development as well as for those who wish to enter the sector in a supervisory/managerial role.

Course Content

This apprenticeship is aimed at anyone working on the park who has a team leading, supervisory or management position. On a large park they could work in sales, administration, retail, maintenance or any other specialism - on a smaller park they could be a trainee or junior manager. Because each park is different the qualification offers a wide choice of optional units as well as the core essentials which include managing health and safety, customer service, team leading and employment rights and responsibilities.

All parts of the training are undertaken at the learner’s place of work. The assessor/trainer will visit the workplace regularly to carry out the training and to support the learner through the qualifications.
