Course Content

As an apprentice in the youth work sector, you will be:

Delivering youth and community support work in local and area projects
Helping to run arts-based activities, community/environmental projects, residential activities, outdoor education and sporting activities
Identifying and pursuing sources of funding for projects to improve services and/or resources for young people
Drawing up business plans, writing reports and making formal presentations to funding bodies
Employee Rights and Responsibilities
Functional Skills maths, English & ICT Level 1
