This apprenticeship is aimed at those who wish to work in operational roles in leisure and recreation facilities, from leisure and recreation centres to caravan and holiday parks. Depending on the setting apprentices are employed in, job roles covered by this framework can be seasonal especially in caravan and holiday parks.

Course Content

The Leisure Operations apprenticeship programme will equip you with the skills, knowledge and competencies required to deliver high level customer care within the leisure industry.

Units include:
Pool water testing
Developing self
Know how to sell products
Teamwork.

Apprentices will be given the opportunity to gain literacy, numeracy and ICT qualifications alongside their industry related skills and qualifications.

Entry Requirements

GCSEs including English, key or functional skills are desirable You will need a keen interest in a career in this subject, be willing to learn new skills and undertake practical tasks You will be required to find suitable relevant employment for the duration of your apprenticeship.
