This course is aimed at students who want to improve their business skills, as well as progress their professional riding qualifications up to BHSI level at no extra cost.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of 64 new UCAS tariff points. Normally one MERIT at Level 3 Extended Diploma (previously National Diploma) in Horse/ Animal Management OR Distinction in 90 Credit Diploma Horse/ Animal Management. Students with A Levels in a Biological /Environmental Science or Psychology plus other subjects to the correct tariff level can apply but they will need to demonstrate a suitable level of industry experience, have achieved BHS Stage 2 and be riding towards BHS Stage 3. GCSEs in Maths, English (grade C or above) are required. Mature entry is actively encouraged and relevant work experience will be considered in place of formal qualifications, but Access to HE courses in Science are highly recommended. International students required to meet IELTS (Academic) 6.0 or above (with minimum 5.5 in each component)

Progression onto the following courses is also open: A third year top-up (Level H/level 6) to gain a BSc (Hons) Equine Studies wth the RAU or other colleges and universities
