The Higher Apprenticeship in Business & Administration is suitable for those who have significant experience of working in a business environment and who can work independently. Business Administration Apprentices provide administrative support within an office environment such as solicitor’s offices, financial management companies, design companies, the NHS, and the Police Service.

Tasks can include:

Managing colleagues and/or an office facility
Solving business problems
Supporting sustainability
Managing risk
Overseeing customer service delivery
Managing budgets
Developing and delivering presentations

There are no Functional Skills as applicants must be at Level 2 in English and maths.

Delivery of this course is in the workplace, with weekly workshops held at college.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSE grades A-C or equivalent. It is advisable to have at least one year of professional work experience.

Progression onto leadership and management qualifications, Foundation Degrees in areas such as Business, Business Management and Business Administration, Business and Management undergraduate programmes, a range of Business and Management Professional qualifications at Level 5 and above.
