The Business Administration Apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to earn while you learn. Our apprentices work in some very exciting placements including solicitors offices, design companies, the NHS, the Police Service and even the occasional brewery! As an apprentice you will learn vital skills to help kick-start your career and receive an opportunity to practise what you are learning in business administration as you take the leadership and responsibility for the administration in your business.

OCR Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration (Combined Qualification)

Course Content

Mandatory Units
- Business Communication
- Personal and Professional Development
- Principles of Business Information
- Principles of Administration
- Principles of Business

Along with the mandatory units, you are required to complete a set number of optional units, which you are able to choose based on where you are working and the job role you have.
Additional course content - Functional Skills in English and/or maths depending upon GCSE achievement.

Delivery of this course is in the workplace, withregular college workshops.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements are required. You will need a keen interest in administration and be keen to learn new skills and participate wholly. GCSE Math, English and ICT A*-C are an advantage, although where required Functional Skills will be completed. To begin your Apprenticeship you must be employed in a suitable relevant role.

Next Steps

Following completion of the Advanced Apprenticeship, candidates are eligible to progress onto the Level 4 NVQ in Business.
