This accounting qualification will further develop book keeping skills studied at Level 1 to enable candidates to produce an accurate trading, profit and loss account and balance sheet. A Level 1 award or equivalent should have been successfully taken.

City and Guilds Level 2 Award in BookKeeping and Accounts (QCF)

Course Content

Candidates will check and correct errors and inaccuracies in the ledger and day books
Provide for depreciation of fixed assets
Account for accruals, prepayments and bad and doubtful debts
Complete an extended trial balance.

Please note that all Bookkeeping exams will be scheduled during the daytime and not the evening.

Bookkeeping and Accounts Level 1 or equivalent.
