For people working in forestry who have to deal with single or multiple wind-blown trees, formerly CS34 & CS35. Study areas include severing multiple wind-blown stems, use of winch to control root plates, felling broken, leaning and half-blown trees.

Please note: Assessment is on a separate day to be arranged between the candidate and the appointed NPTC assessor.

Course fees include:- equipment, training assessment, access to suitable sites for training and assessment.

Fell leaning and half blown trees
Fell broken trees

Entry Requirements

CS201/202 - Chainsaw Maintenance, CS203 - Fell Small Trees, CS301 - Fell Medium Sized Trees (formerly CS30, CS31, CS32) - or equivalent Students must be aged 16 or over on 1st September of the year in which the course starts Tetanus protection is recommended.
