An Accounting Apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to earn while you learn. The term ‘accounting technician’ covers a range of accounting roles, from Finance Administrator to Head of Finance. Financial roles are crucial to any type of business, and by beginning your accounting apprenticeship you can start your journey to a professional career, supported by one of the largest membership bodies in the industry - The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).

Additional course content - Functional Skills in English and/or maths depending upon GCSE achievement.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements; however it is recommended that the Level 2 AAT qualification is completed before entering the Level 3. GCSE Math and English Grade A*-C would be an advantage. However, where required, Functional Skills will be completed. You will be employed in a suitable relevant job.

Next Steps

Following completion of the Level 3 Apprenticeship, candidates are eligible to progress onto the Level 4 AAT Qualification and a Higher Apprenticeship.
