Arboriculture

Arboriculture involves all aspects of the establishment, cultivation, management and production of trees in the landscape.

Concern for the preservation of trees in urban and rural areas as well as high-profile environmental issues has generated an increasing demand for skilled arboriculturists.

Recent advances in the understanding of tree physiology have led to major changes to traditional tree work practices. Arboriculture has now moved from the ‘tree surgery’ approach to a ‘tree care’ approach. Our courses reflect these developments by equipping our learners with the necessary skills to succeed in this industry.
