We pride ourselves on the in−house expertise which enables us to provide a wide range of support services to help you make the most of your time here.
One to One Support
Sometimes it helps to talk to someone when you have something on your mind and our friendly and dedicated Student Support team are available to help throughout the day. We can provide help and advice on any personal, emotional or practical problem.
Tutorial Support and Self Help Resources
Your tutorial support programme includes talks and workshops on topics such as drug and alcohol awareness, personal safety, safe driving and healthy lifestyles.
Careers
In the Learning Resources Centre, our careers information assistant keeps up-to-date careers information to you. Your tutor will also be able to help you with careers advice and applying for university courses.
Help for students with additional learning needs
If you have a disability or need extra help, we can offer:
- Classroom support
- Help with reading, writing, maths or study skills
- Class notes made available by the tutor in advance
- Special exam arrangements
- More time with the tutor
- Specialist software and assistive equipment
- Dyslexia support
