Accommodation

Applications for on-campus accommodation are welcomed from all full-time FE students subject to some priorities:

  • Distance from College – priority given to applicants from out of County
  • Bus Routes – priority given to applicants not on a College bus route

Houses

The College has 5 separate blocks comprising:

  • 1 x 12 rooms
  • 3 x 8 rooms
  • 1 x 20 rooms
  • Full laundry facilities
  • Shared bathroom and kitchen facilities
  • Common room areas with TV

Male and female students under 18 housed separately, over 18s and under 18s also accommodated in separate blocks.

Security

  • We have CCTV throughout campus including in close proximity to all residential accommodation
  • All rooms have electronic door locks which are card activated
  • All residential students wear identifying lanyards
  • All staff hold enhanced CRB clearance
  • All staff receive training and regular updates on safeguarding of young people and people at risk

Food

  • Half board – breakfast plus either lunch or dinner
  • Served in the on-campus Coach house café
  • Food card credits
  • Weekly Tesco supermarket run

Entertainment

Programme of week day evening activities, including:

  • Cinema trips
  • Skittles
  • Dance class
  • On-site gym

plus opportunity to extend studies by participating in evening classes at the College

Payment

  • Current fees are £1,248 per term, including half board
  • £200 deposit/holding fee on confirmation of allocation of room
  • First term’s invoice sent mid August, payment due at Enrolment Day
