Drop in and speak to our knowledgeable tutors about the right course for you. If you’re in Year 11 or leaving school in 2017 and haven’t yet decided what to do, you might be surprised at what’s right on your doorstep.

Many courses prepare you for a future in your dream job in the great outdoors – from Gamekeeper, Countryside Ranger or Farmer, to Horse Groom, Personal Trainer or Animal Nursing Assistant.

If you want to venture into an industrial role the welding and blacksmithing courses taught in our modern airy workshop and forge could lead you into a career as a Welder, Fabricator or Mechanical Engineering Technician.

Perhaps life in the forces or in the uniformed public services has caught your interest – our Public Services courses will put you through your paces with rigorous fitness regimes, teamwork and expedition skills.

You could work creatively as Florist, sourcing and selecting beautiful plants; or perhaps nurturing them as a Horticulturist or Landscape Gardener.

Full-time further education courses start September 2017 and Apprenticeships and part-time courses start throughout the year!

Our specialised Higher Education courses include Foundation and Top Up Degrees in Animal Behaviour & Welfare and Marine Ecology & Conservation find out more here.
