Hours:   39 per week with the flexibility to meet the needs of the business.

Salary: £29,871 per annum which is Point A40 on the Support Staff Salary Scale.  In addition, a house on campus is provided for the better performance of this post holder’s duties.

Job Purpose:

To take ultimate oversight of the College Estate and the project-management of all new accommodation developments.

To manage the day to day running of all works connected to premises and services on campus, including Grade I listed buildings by Estates and Premises staff.


This post holder will take ultimate oversight of ensuring the safety, security, future physical development and presentation of the College Estate.  This will include planned maintenance of the College’s Estate and buildings and the management the day to day running of all works connected to premises and services on campus.  The ability to work closely with key College staff to implement changes quickly and effectively is essential to the success of this role.  In the short term (6-12 months) this role will also be the College’s Designated Fire Officer.
