Post Title: Outdoor Adventure and Sports Coaching Advanced Apprentice

Vision: We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated apprentice to assist and deliver outdoor and/or sports sessions within the Outdoor Adventure and Sports Coaching department. You will play a key role in the day to day running of the Outdoor Adventure and Sports Coaching department. You will have a range of experience gained from working in the industry and will be resourceful and confident.
Job Purpose: To assist in the upkeep of the Outdoor Education Centre, sports facilities and instruct on activity sessions as necessary. You will supervise in the Gym, assisting in inductions as required as well as fulfilling all the requirements to successfully complete the Advanced Apprenticeship Framework. This will include an NVQ level 3, underpinning knowledge certificate, Functional Skills and Industry Qualifications.
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £6541.60 per annum paid in monthly instalments. This is the National Apprenticeship rate for under 19-year olds in their first year of an Apprenticeship. Apprentices who are over 19 will receive the National Minimum Wage applicable to their age.
Status: Fixed-Term for 15 months, or until the apprenticeship is completed, whichever is the earlier.
