Hours: 0.4 fractional – 14.8 hours per week

Salary: £8,060.40-£9,334.80 per annum pro rata (£20,151 – £25,455 per annum) which equates to academic salary scale points L6b – L9c depending upon skills and experience.

Job Purpose: To teach and assess on FE and HE Level courses across the Animal Management curriculum whilst maintaining and achieving high standards. To provide general support and cover for the development of further Animal Management provision and this will include Course Manager responsibilities.

Vision:

The College is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated animal management lecturer with the ability to deliver high quality, inspiring lectures and practical teaching sessions suitable for the sector in the 21st Century. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to help shape the future of animal management education.  Set within a 300 hectare rural estate, the College has access to a wide range of resources and animals; facilities which offer exciting opportunities for curriculum innovation and development. The successful applicant will have at least a Level 3 Animal Management qualification, strong practical experience of working in the industry as well as being able to demonstrate excellent administrative and organisational abilities in order to perform the role of Course Manager successfully.
