Paws for thought..

Pirates of the Caribbean, Sherlock Holmes, Sweeny Todd and Kick Ass 2…what do they all have in common? Trained animals from Gill Raddings Stunt Dogs! Come and see how careful training can ‘lead’ to amazing things with these 40 minute shows on the main lawn. Visit the team at their stand in the Dog zone for top training tips.

9 year old Dodger, a rescue from Dogs Trust, has been as busy as ever. Series 7 of Doc Martin saw a lot more of Buddy, the unloved canine stalker of the miserable Doctor. The script writers came up with some great story lines involving the unlikely couple, much to the delight of Martin Clunes, who in real life adores the little terrier.

Dodger also joined Barley with Paul O”Grady in the Christmas special of For the love of Dogs, and is currently on TV in the commercial for Virgin Trains…”Bound for Glory “

Paddy is a rescue from Dogs Trust. He came in from Ireland as a young dog off approximately 7 months old.

He really took to his training, and his first job was as a village dog on the big Disney film, Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson as Belle, due out in 2017. Following that he appeared in the Christmas Advert for Asda, dressed in a doggy Xmas jumper and antlers. His next job was for Morrisons and he has also been playing a street dog in Fantastic Beasts and where to find Them, which is a prequel to Harry Potter. The future looks very promising for little Paddy !

First seen when we used her and another couple of Cavaliers on a TV film Catwalk Dogs. It was seeing her close resemblance to the real Dash that led to her being bought and trained to play the Queens dog in the feature film “Young Victoria” starring Emily Blunt.

Since that 2009 film, when Tori was less than a year old, her film career has really blossomed. She has filmed on Midsomer Murders, several commercials including Winalot, Foxy Bingo and Mega Bingo. You may have seen her as the posh dog Jip, belonging to Miss Havisham in the recent TV series Dickensian. She unfortunately met a very unpleasant end, being put into a sack and thrown in the river!

The new idents in between Channel 5 programmes sees Tori riding in the back of a pick up with a few other doggies friends, and later this year you will see her swap the truck for a horse drawn carriage, as she once again plays Dash, in a lavish TV series version of Victoria, alongside Jenna Coleman as the young Queen.
