The Kingston Maurward Show is centred around the Grade II Mansion House and our Learning Resources Centre at the heart of the campus. All trade stands will be placed in this general area where all visitors congregate for music, food and canine fun at the extremely popular dog show.

Setup and Breakdown
Access for set up will be on Saturday 11th June from 10am to 4pm (by prior arrangement with the events organisers), or alternatively, Sunday 12th from 6am to 8am. Please ensure you arrive with plenty of time to set up your stand.
Some trade stand areas may require more time to access so we recommend Saturday set up. Overnight on-site security will be provided. Access to Terrace Pitches – vehicle size is restricted to LWB Hi-Top Vans. Trailers are permitted but please contact us regarding trailer access and turning restrictions. Breaking down pitches must not commence before 5pm on Sunday 12th June.
Outdoor pitches are 3m x 3m and have no power supply. Small generators are permitted but they must be quiet and unobtrusive.
Gazebos, tents and other forms of cover are permitted only within the boundaries of the reserved pitch size. The surface this year is predominantly is a mix of grass and hard standing and the organisers will do their best to provide flat pitches.
If more than a 3m x 3m size is required, you will need to book multiple pitches. Please see opposite for discount details.
A limited number of sites at discounted prices are set aside for charity applications with local or land-based connections. All charities, except for the Kingston Maurward Foundation, must confine their activities to the limits of their own stand. Please contact the Events Manager for details.
Where a trader withdraws from the show or cancels space reserved, all fees paid shall be forfeited and the College reserves the right to re-let this space.
The selling of goods by auction, shouting or behaviour that causes a nuisance to visitors or other exhibitors is strictly forbidden.

We do not take bookings for trade stands online. Please send the completed application form and non-refundable pitch fee payable to Kingston Maurward College to The Kingston Maurward Show, Marketing Office, Kingston Maurward College, Dorchester, DT2 8PY. If you have any queries regarding a booking, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Confirmation of your booking will be sent together with your information pack as soon as possible.
Closing date for bookings is Friday 6th May.
The College reserves the right to refuse any booking whether received prior to the closing date or not and also reserves the right to cancel any application which may have previously been accepted, without any reason being given.
Allocation of Space
Pitches will be allocated on arrival and entirely at the discretion of the College Events Team and should be for the sole use of that applicant. No exhibitor shall sub-let any portion of space allotted to a third party.
Exhibitors must apply for and pay for sufficient space for all areas of their stand including vehicles required for stand operation and guy ropes required for any structure being brought as part of their display.
Insurance and Licencing
All exhibitors are required to hold valid Public Liability Insurance with indemnity of a minimum of £2 million, and must produce evidence of this. Please enclose a copy of your insurance certificate with your exhibitor’s application form. All traders are required to meet and comply with present fire regulations and all present regulations and codes of practice regarding food handling and storage.
All traders selling alcohol must hold a Temporary Event Notice and provide a copy of it with your Exhibitor Booking Form. All alcohol sales should be for take-home purposes, not to be consumed on site.
All certificates must be valid on show day and available for inspection.
Kingston Maurward College, its employees, agents or representatives, do not accept liability for any accident, loss or damage as a result of attending the event. Exhibitors attend entirely at your own risk.
All vehicles must be moved to allocated parking areas by 9am on the show day. Only vehicles that have express permission from the organisers and booked sufficient space will be allowed to remain with the stand. To comply with the College’s health and safety policy, there can be no vehicular movement on the showground between 9am and 5pm on the day of the show.
Tradestand holders are responsible for clearing all litter from their trade areas. Large food vendors are expected to take litter with them. No smoking is permitted in any covered structure, including any marquee.
The College reserves the right to cancel the event. The event will go ahead in all but the most extreme weather. If you are unsure please check the website (www.kmc.ac.uk). Refunds will only be given if the event is cancelled within the first hour by the College.
