Learning Resource Centre

The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) provides you with all the resources, facilities and help you need to support your learning.

The open-plan library on the ground floor makes available up-to-date resources designed to assist, support and help students with their studies. On-line journals, maps, reference works and newspapers are available via the Colleges Virtual Learning Environment (MOODLE) which also provides access to Careers resources.

Open access computing facilities on both floors include access to a suite of software applications, memory card readers, scanners, CD and DVD re-writers. Other facilities include a Video Editing Suite, access to digital cameras, photocopiers and printers. 

Our purpose-built science laboratories deliver flexible space, specialist equipment and expert technical support. Students have the opportunity to investigate a variety of topics, such as nutrition, genetics, anatomy, soil science and botany using hands-on practical activities.

Our LRC staff are all fully trained and are extremely helpful, friendly and experienced. The LRC team are on hand to offer suggestions and advice on all learning materials.
