Gardens and Park Farm
Our gardens and Farm Park are increasingly popular with young and old alike and also provide a wonderful teaching resource for our students. Operating for 18 years, the Farm Park now achieves 40,000 visitors a year and gives students the opportunity to interact with the public.
Children love the wide variety of animals and excellent play facilities and the extensive grounds provide a beautiful backdrop for picnics. The Park holds the following:
- Large collection of animals − from guinea pigs to ponies and owls to emus
- Regular 'Keeper Talks' to inform visitors about the origin, welfare and habitat of various animals
- Grooming, handling and bottle−feeding sessions
- Stunning ornamental lake and walled garden
- Visitor Centre and shop
- Picnic area and refreshment kiosk
