Is it right for me?
An obvious follow-on to the Level 2 Dog Grooming Assistants course (AC133). It is aimed at students who would like to progress to become a professional dog stylist. Units include: styling and finishing, planning grooming and health checking.
What will I be learning about?
This 30 week, Level 3 Certificate works out to the equivalent to just £7 per hour for tuition and can be paid in instalments.
Units include:
- Carry out stylng and finishing of dogs
- Assessment and planning of dog grooming work
- Promote and maintain the health and well-being of animals
- Health checking a dog as a dog groomer
Plus additional units selected by the tutor.
H/502/1507 − Promote and maintain the health and well-being of animals
K/502/1699 − Assess and plan dog grooming work
T/502/1706 − Carrying out styling and finishing of dogs
T/502/4721 − Health checking a dog by a dog groomer
Where will it take me?
Working as an Assistant in a Dog Grooming Salon. Progression on to the Level 3 Diploma in Professional Dog Stylists. (This course is a pre-requisite)
