What is involved?
Two days' input followed by 8 week gap, culminating in further 2 days' input and practical assessment

Lead on to Level 3 Certificate in Tutoring in Sport. Working independently as a professional coach.
What's Required?
Candidates should hold an appropriate vocational qualification at least one level above that of the candidates you will be assessing (e.g Level 2 coaching qualification). Minimum age is 17.

| Progression : | Successful candidates are eligible to seek employment in paid or voluntary coaching roles. They should look to develop their learning and knowledge of their sport by working with other, more experienced, coaches. Holders of this Certificate may wish to gather further evidence to achieve a Level 2 N/SVQ in Coaching, Teaching and Instructing in a recognised sport. An N/SVQ or individual units of the national standards can only be achieved via an organisation/college approved to offer the N/SVQ and/or appropriate units. Achievement will require the candidates to demonstrate their competence in fulfilling all the performance criteria and range of the national standards, in the workplace, over a period of time. |
