Is it right for me?

Whether you are an experienced artist or an enthusiastic beginner, this four day course will be suitable for you. It covers the essential skills for illustrating plants accurately in watercolour, within the context of your own project.

What will I be learning about?

During the 4 days the course covers:

 

  • Observation and preliminary sketches
  • Representing three dimensions with tonal drawing
  • Composition
  • Colour washes
  • Specimen care
  • Showing detail and presentation
