Your own chainsaw
(if it meets with current regulations).

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Tetanus protection is recommended.

You may bring your own chainsaw and protective clothing but they must meet all current legislation. Safety equipment and protective clothing is provided by the college.

Is it right for me?

Two-day course covering felling small trees - 8” diameter, snedding, cross-cutting timber and health and safety. No previous practical experience necessary.

What will I be learning about?

Whether for business, domestic or leisure activities, if you use a chainsaw occasionally, you will find this two day LANTRA course useful and informative.

What's Required?

Students must be aged 16 or over on 1st September of the year in which the course starts. No previous practical experience necessary. Tetanus protection is recommended.
