Is it right for me?
Provides practical skills and knowledge needed to lamb ewes, and to deal with minor problems using the correct techniques. Also covers care of ewes and lambs before and after lambing, with emphasis on animal welfare.
What will I be learning about?
A two day course to give you the practical skills and knowledge to lamb ewes, and to deal with minor problems, using the correct techniques. The course also covers care of ewes and lambs before and after lambing. The emphasis is on animal welfare and is taught in a supportive atmosphere using flocks in Dorset.

Notes
Women who are pregnant can not take the course. Anyone living with a pregnant woman must discuss health and safety precautions with the course tutor.
